Lauren has been collecting stories since elementary school, and in college she realized she wanted to tell them as well. Lauren has worked with Georgia College's weekly news show, interviewed artists in Argentina, produced a web series, and worked on a short documentary. After graduating from Georgia College she hopes to combine her passion for history with her love of video-storytelling.
The small town she lives in is facing big changes. Follow along as Lauren tells the story of how Milledgeville's economy became what it is today, and how the town is moving forward. Tessa Chronister, Developmental and mental Care

Fascination of historic Milledgeville has captivated Tessa Chronister since she moved here. This small town owns a rich history in the care for the disabled. Tessa developed a personal passion and natural curiosity for the care of mental and developmental disabilities in Baldwin County. Follow her as she reports on the facilities created with these people in mind.

Benedict writes articles for the school newspaper, The Colonnade, works as a reporter for the school TV station, GC 360, and DJs at the school radio station, 95.3 The Noise. He hosts the radio show, the “From Old to New Hour.” His current exploration is into how four different police departments that have jurisdiction in one city work together to protect and serve their citizens.

Kelsey Glass, Teen Pregnancy

After working at the local high school, Kelsey became interested in the teen pregnancy issue in Baldwin County. She hopes to dive into the "nitty gritty" of the situation by speaking with health care professionals, day care leaders, and current teenage mothers. Through multimedia, the goal is to help the community understand different aspects of the issue in a positive light.
Kelsey focuses her studies in journalism and public relations. She currently works as a contributing writer for thatDROP.com and as a social media coordinator for The Market Collective. Sophie Goodman is out to conquer the world through her honest, informative journalistic endeavors. She worked at The Colonnade, a student-run, weekly newspaper as both the Community News Editor and the Spotlight Editor. While written words have always entranced Sophie, she aspires to broaden her horizons through experimenting with different types of media outlets, including design and broadcast. Sophie aims to shed light on the religious diversity in Milledgeville.

Sarah Lamkin is a part time student, part time waitress and full time curious citizen of Milledgeville.
After working in the restaurant industry, Sarah has developed a passion for finding out the stories behind the people who serve local customers. This passion along with a Mass Communication background has provided Sarah the opportunity to step outside her comfort zone and experiment storytelling through multiple platforms. Sarah hopes to reveal the untold backgrounds of local citizens and expose stories that help everyone rediscover why Milledgeville is such a unique small town. Laura nolan, music scene

The radio bug bit Laura when she was a college sophomore, and her life hasn't been the same since. She started off hosting her show on the college radio waves, then moved on to be the mid-day gal on WMGZ Z97 FM for a year and a half, and now, she is off to Atlanta to intern at Q100.
If you're going to be involved in radio, you have to know music. Laura seeks to expose the trials and triumphs of local musicians, and find out how Milledgeville fits in to their musical journey. Taylor Weldon is fascinated by people and enjoys creatively communicating their stories to the world. Taylor has worked as both a writer and an anchor for Georgia College's GC360 News and as a blogger for several small companies in Atlanta's wedding industry. She also loves the the visual aspect of mass communication and plans to work as a graphic designer after graduating from Georgia College.
Her curiosity about her surroundings led her to look into the stories of Milledgeville’s past. Through careful research and conversations with longtime residents, she pieces together the stories of Milledgeville, then and now.
